In case you haven't heard, I'm Mike and I own Kishi Automotive Repair.
I love to fix cars. Really I do.
It's something that gives me a lot pleasure to get your car running well -- and I might add, not for an arm and a leg. Not to knock dealers entirely, remember, they're great when you're under warranty, but their paradigm (did I just use that word?) isn't mine. My outlook on car repair is to try to get you through the least expensive repair that high uncompromising safety calls for. A dealer's perspective differs by in large part because they are selling you OEM parts and expensive labor to boot.
My labor charges are a flat $65 an hour, and I usually throw in a multi-hour discount if at all possible.
I've earned a great reputation here in the the South Bay for what I imagine are two reasons:
1) I really enjoy helping my customers out and my work is excellent and at times, even creative.
2) I really want my customers to save money.
I have found this brings them back and that we all smile in the end.
Me, I 've got a steady stream of loyal customers. And my customers now have more money left over for family, entertainment, meals, and maybe even a deposit on a new set of wheels, or at least a surfboard, bicycle racks, or that box of Sees candies! Who am I to judge?
